What easo is

easo is the cockpit for your quality management: your people create, review and release ISO 9001 documents and read them as a living, searchable handbook — alone or as a team, in five languages. It isn't a filing system you drop a manual into; it's where the manual is written and used.

Everything that makes a quality management system audit-proof — versioning, approvals, evidence, revision states — runs underneath, without anyone having to attend to it. No Git knowledge, no SharePoint structure, no IT project.

And easo doesn't start from zero: an existing quality manual is adopted on day one and converted into living documents step by step. Switching is a day, not a project.

What easo does differently

Anyone looking for a QMS for a smaller company today has essentially two options: extensive eQMS suites that get avoided in everyday office life — or home-grown Word and SharePoint folders that drift apart and can't prove in an audit that nothing was altered. easo goes straight at those weak points.

• Your data stays yours. The documents live in your own Git — and you never have to touch Git. Vendors who hold your data can't offer that; home-grown Git solutions can't be operated by office staff. easo combines both.
• Approvals are provable, not asserted. Every release is cryptographically signed (to the eIDAS/AdES bar) and can be verified without easo. The revision table can't drift, because nobody maintains it by hand.
• It won't let you forget anything. A model of the standard shows honestly how far along you are — drafts don't count — and what is concretely still missing.
• One price per company. No per-seat licence, so there's no reason to deny your team read access to their own handbook.
• In and out again. Existing documents are adopted on day one; when you leave, everything stays where it already was.
• A foundation, not a point tool. ISO 9001 is the first module — further standards are intended to follow on the same foundation.

Why MANOVIS built easo

We didn't spot this problem in the market — we ran into it ourselves. Across MANOVIS and our investments, we spent years trying to establish a management system, along very different routes: the classic way through cumbersome SharePoint workflows; lean, but wired firmly into our own software; and finally as loose process documentation with no system at all. None of them held up.

So we searched together — and found nothing that fitted any of our companies. What the market offers mostly comes down to one of two patterns: a lot of consulting, out of which a cumbersome bespoke solution grows, or a product that effectively keeps hold of your data. Both create a dependency that a quality management system does not need.

So we pooled what we already had: an understanding of processes from our own product and business development, and established technology — Git, open data formats, proven standards — instead of a proprietary store of our own. That is exactly the way MANOVIS works: translate between the disciplines and solve a problem where it arises — in the architecture, not in the user interface. easo came out of that, because we needed it ourselves.

Who easo is for

easo is cut for small and medium-sized companies — the size at which quality management is expected but nobody has a full-time role for it. It works just as well in larger organisations; the fit simply doesn't favour the bigger ones.
